The Nigeria’s President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has coommended Governor Dapo Abiodun on being proactive in response to the gas explosion which occurred on Saturday at Ita-Oshin in Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun State.
Penpushing reports that Tinubu in a condolence letter made available by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday also sympathised him, as well with family and victims of the explosion from a solitary gas truck which rippled through the community, resulting in the loss of life and property.
“President Bola Tinubu extends his deepest sympathies to the victims of the gas explosion at Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.The explosion from a solitary gas truck rippled through the community, resulting in the loss of life and property”, he wrote.
Penpushing further reports that the President in same vein commended the Governor on his valiant efforts to arrest the situation and immediately restore calm to the community, he equally sympathised with the residents of the state over this tragedy.
The statement added that Tinubu assured the people of Ogun State, particularly the victims of this harrowing incident, of his fervent support in this moment of grief
