The controversial Nigerian lewd musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly called Portable, has demanded DNA tests for his two children with actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, popularly known as Ashabi Simple, before taking responsibility for their upkeep.
Penpushing reports that he made the demand in an Instagram Story on Friday, insisting that he needed the DNA tests before he could take care of the children because he did not trust their mother.
“Now I need DNA test asap so i can take care of those kids because I do not trust their mother. I cannot take care of another man child’, Portable wrote.
Penpushing further reports that his demand came amid an ongoing dispute with Ashabi over the welfare and financial support of their children, while in a voice note circulated online, Portable queried the paternity of the children.
The singer declared that he wanted the children taken to a hospital for DNA testing before providing further financial support, and questioned Ashabi’s alleged movements during their relationship.
Penpushing also reports that Portable pointed out that Ashabi would sometimes be away from their home for several days because of film shoots, adding that the physical resemblance between him and the children was not enough to establish that he was their biological father.

Penpushing reports that Ashabi in a screenshot accused Portable of failure to provide adequate financial support for their children and issued threat to involve the police over their welfare, claiming that between January and September, Portable had given N200,000 towards the upkeep of their two children.
The embattled wife equally claimed that she had paid their school fees for three terms and had been responsible for feeding and clothing the children, stressing that she had given Portable enough time to be responsible
