The son of late military dictator Sanni Abacha, Abdullahi has been reported dead in his sleep on Saturday, and this was confirmed by his sister, Gumsu on her twitter page, but details of cause of death was yet unknown as at the time of filing this report.
Penpushing reports that the remains of Abdullahi were committed to mother earth at the Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as at the time of this report, and this was after a prayer at the Central Mosque in Abuja.
The Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has, however, extended heartfelt condolences to the former First Lady, Maryam Abacha, and family on the death of their son, and prayed that the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for those who mourned.
Penpushing further reports that in statement made available by the Presidential aide Garba Shehu, said Buhari’s prayers and thoughts are with the family of Abacha as they grieve the passing of the young Abdullahi.
