The remains of Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, will be committed to mother earth on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Lagos.
Penpushing reports that Wale Adeosun on behalf of the family announced the funeral service on Sunday, explaining that a night of tributes will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 5pm at Harbour Point Event Centre, Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The family added that funeral service will take place at 10am on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Chief Yesufu Abiodun Oniru Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Penpushing further reports that the family described the deceased as their dearly beloved son, brother, husband and father, while it is recalled that the deceased popularly known as Niyi, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 62.
The family announcing his death, described him as a reputable businessman and devoted Christian who made a positive impact on the lives of those who knew him.
“It is with profound sorrow, yet in total submission to the will of Almighty God, that the Adeosun family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother, Mr Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun, who was called home to glory on Wednesday, 5th August 2026, in Lagos’, the family wrote.
“He was 62 years old. Niyi was a distinguished businessman and a devoted Christian whose integrity, generosity, and steadfast faith touched the lives of all who knew him. He lived a life defined by hard work, service to God, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community,” they said.
