Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of the Fountain of Life Church, has lost his second wife, Nomthi, a South African after two years of battle with cancer, which eventually claimed her life, a sad news the cleric announced on his Instagram page.
Penpushing reports that, it is recalled that, the Senior Pastor lost his first wife, Bimbo Odukoya in a plane crash in 2005, and five years after the incident, Odukoya married the South African woman on January 5 2010 and their marriage was blessed with two children.
The bereaved pastor on his instagram page announced the demise of the wife with deep regret, adding that she battled cancer for the better part of two years, but stood on the word of God, as she fought the ailment
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya. She battled cancer for the better part of two years, she stood on the Word of God and she fought. She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life”, Odukoya wrote
Penpushing further reports that, the church in a statement also affirmed that the wife of the senior pastor succumbed to cancer at an undisclosed hospital, adding that they love with all their heart, but they cannot questioned God.
“She battled cancer for the better part of two years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought. We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God. The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi”, the church wrote
