The Civil Defence College of Security Management Ogun State Command has organized a day seminar for its officers, electorate, candidates and political party members, as well as other stakeholders in a bid to re-orientate and enlighten them ahead of the forthcoming poll in Nigeria.
Penpushing reports that the seminar with the theme, ’Electoral Transparency: A Panacea to a Secured and Developed Nation’, was held at the college headquarters located at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital.
The Acting Provost of the college Toye Adebayo in his speech explained that the anti-corruption and transparency unit of the Civil Defence College of Security Management deemed it fit to organize the seminar towards achieving success at the poll.
Penpushing further reports that Adebayo said he was of the conviction that the seminar will go round in all formations of the corps in order to orientate, sensitize the officers and men of the corps towards good conduct before, during and after elections
‘I must bring to the notice of all seated here today that, these achievements we have been witnessing in recent times have been possible due to the leadership and lovely roles of our amiable ,indefatigable and exemplary leader, Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Abubakar Audi’, he stated
‘I believe the seminar will go round in all formations of the corps in order to orientate, sensitize the officers and men of the corps towards good conduct before during and after the elections of this year 2023’, he emphasised
Penpushing also reports that he said the Commandant General has the mission to rejig, rebuild, reposition, restructure and to reactivate the corps into becoming the best in the world, through his exemplary leadership roles by protecting lives and property and ensuring maximum and absolute peace
