The Police Service Commission (PSC) has promoted Area Commander of Adatan Division of Ogun State Police Command, Uduak Otu Ita from Assistant Commissioner of Police to Deputy Commissioner
Penpushing reports that, the promotion as approved by the commission is contained in a release issued and made available by Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, adding that this followed meeting from 15th plenary meeting of the commission on Friday May 13th 2022 in Abuja.
The plenary meeting which began on Wednesday, May 11th 2022 was presided over by Alhaji Musiliu Smith, Chairman of the Commission and former Inspector General of Police, while number of police officers were also promoted to different ranks.
Penpushing further reports that, the news of the promotion of Uduak was received with joy and excitement by men and officer of the Ogun State Command, describing the newly promoted Deputy Commissioner as a competent, proactive police officer, and no doubt , she is a diligent, seasoned, proactive professional police officer who is well prepared and groomed to live up to the expected responsibilities ahead.
The Chairman of the Commission, in his remarks congratulated the promoted officer and colleagues,charging them to redouble their efforts in the service of their fatherland, adding that they should continually remain committed in the performance of their duties
