The Prominent Tungba musician and owner of Fresh F.M Radio Station Nigeria, Dr Yinka Ayefele has called on Ogun State Government to soft pedal on the criminal offences of Habeeb Okikiola popularly called Portable who is facing interrogation with the police over his role in attack of government officials.

Penpushing reports that Ayefele made the appeal on Wednesday on behalf on the controversial lewd musician at the 6th anniversary of Fresh F.M Radio Station 107.9, Abeokuta, held at Kesington Adebutu Hall located within premises of Abeokuta Sports Club, Abeokuta

The owner of the radio stations in his appeal shortly after the speech of the Ogun State Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya passionately called for pardon of Portable, adding that his actions should be considered as childish and should be given another opportunity to change for better.

“I want to use this opportunity that Ogun State Head of Service is here, to appeal on behalf of Portable for government to please soft pedal on Portable issues. Please I want to beg Ogun State Governor to please forgive Portable, he is our brother, he is our son. Let us give him another chance. We want you to help appeal to the Governor and government to forgive him”, Ayefele emphasized

Penpushing further reports that Portable who has been declared wanted by police for criminal offence was on Wednesday brought and handed over to Ogun State Police Command Headquarters at Eleweran Abeokuta by the Lagos State Police Command for investigation and subsequent arraigned in court.

The Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command it is recalled had declared, the hip-hop musician who described himself as “Were Olorin”, (mad musician) wanted over attempted murder and other criminal offences against him

Penpushing also reports that the lewd musician who pronounced himself as a lunatic was declared wanted in a police special gazzete bulletin with reference number CR 300/OGS/DS/X/VOL.T/86, containing his photograph, emphasizing that he hired armed thugs to attack officials of Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

The bulletin which put the age of the run away artiste, who referred to himself as a product of zoo, at 31, calling on members of the public to help fish him out from hiding, adding that the magistrate court in the state has issued a warrant of arrest against him

Penpushing reports that a statement from the Command declared that any relevant information, that could lead to his arrest should be forwarded to any nearest police station or contact police public relations department at Eleweran Abeokuta

“On February 5, 2025, at about 1000hrs, officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office, TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond LLatef, TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi, were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, when they encountered an elderly man, later identified as Portable’s father, at Odogwu Bar in the area”, the statement reads .

“Upon identifying themselves and requesting the approved building plan, the father informed them that his son was unavailable.However, moments later, Portable, armed with a firearm and other dangerous weapons, led a gang of nine thugs in a violent attack on the unarmed officials”, the statement added .

‘The enforcement officers sustained various bodily injuries but managed to escape and reported the incident to the Ota Area Command, which subsequently escalated the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further action”, the command wrote

“Nine accomplices were arrested, but Portable fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Multiple formal invitations were sent to him, requesting his presence at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, which he deliberately ignored without cause or legal representation”, it added.

“Following his repeated evasion, the Ogun State Police Command has obtained a valid court order declaring him wanted. Members of the public are strongly advised to assist the police by providing any valuable information that can lead to his immediate arrest. Anyone found aiding or harbouring the suspect will face legal consequences.

“For any relevant information, kindly report to the nearest police station or contact the Ogun State Police Command through its official communication channels or police public relations department”, the statement emphasised

Penpushing reports that the gazzete bulletin issued by the authority of the Inspector General of Police explained that the suspect is a Yoruba by tribe, 5.5 Ft in height, medium built, round face, brown complexion, round chin, tainted hair, moderate head, low forehead and always in simple dress, adding that his last known address was Odogun Bar/Restaurant Oke-Osa Tigbo llu, Ota, Ogun State

The above named person is hereby declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force. A warrant of arrest has been issued against him by the Magistrate Court in Ogun State of Nigeria”, the bulletin stated.

“He is wanted for the offences of conspiracy, serious assault, going armed, conduct likely to cause breach of public peace Peac, attempted murder by recruiting armed thugs who conspired and attacked officials of Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota ZonalOffice.The offences were committed at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu, Ota Ogun State on the 5th of February2025 at 1000 hours”.

“He is a Yoruba by tribe, Hip hop Artist, Aged 31 Years, 5.5 Ft in Height, Medium Built, Round Face, BrownComplexion, Round Chin, Tainted Hair, Moderate Head, Low Forehead. Always in simple Dress. Lastknown address Odogun Bar/Restaurant Oke-Osa Tigbo llu, Ota, Ogun State”, the bulletin added.

“If seen arrest and handover to the nearest Police Station or to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department,State Police Headquarters Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State”, the bulletin emphasized.
