A management staff of Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, Oluwaseyi Adeniji has been reported to have committed suicide at his family residence located in Obantoko area of the town

Penpushing reports that Adeniji, a Deputy Director in the Internal Audit Department of the health institution was reported to have jumped inside a well to committ suicide, while reasons for his action could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

The questionable circumstance of the death of the 55-year-old Federal government staff was said to have shocked his family members, neighbours and his colleagues at the Federal Medical Centre(FMC), as number of them said they never observed he had such plans to take his own life abptruly, however, prayed to God to rest his soul.

Penpushing further reports that as at the time of filing this report the corpse had been deposited in the morgue, as sources explained that the family still finds it difficult to believe the sudden demise of their breadwinner

The Head of Information and Public Relations of Federal Medical Centre(FMC), Dr Segun Orisajo when contacted confirmed the death but could not established how and the cause, adding that he died under a questionable circumstance which he(Orisajo) described as painful loss to the hospital management

“The sudden death of Mr Adeniji Oluwaseyi under a questionable circumstance was a painful loss to the Federal Medical Centre Idi-Aba Abeokuta. He was a dedicated, loyal and hardworking staff’ Orisajo wrote.

“I must stress that his death was a shock to the hospital community because there were no obvious signs that we were going to miss him so soon because he was at work almost the whole of last week’, the statement added.

“The Medical Director, Prof Adewale Musa-Olomu has extended his heartfelt condolences to his family, his department and the hospital at large.May the good Lord console his family at this trying period’, Orisajo stated
