Stakeholders affirm relevance of learning materials to aid academic performances of pupils

Stakeholders have submitted that the relevance of educational materials in schools should not be toy with, emphasizing that notebooks and textbooks give vital knowledge to students and through their hard work, they will build the country’s future.

Penpushing reports that this was made known at the distribution of learning materials to some pupils of public schools in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital by a Mon-Governmental Organisation, Promoting Education for Indigent Children Foundation (PEFIC).

The convener and chairman management committee of the foundation Alhaji Lateef Oridota  in his speech at the event held Imo Methodist Primary School, Oke Yeke, Abeokuta encouraged pupils to embrace learning with dedication and assuring them that education remains a powerful tool for shaping their future

Penpushing further reports that Chaiman Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Evang. Joshua Ifede in his goodwill message emphasized the significance of the materials being distributed

“The notebooks and textbooks give vital knowledge to our students and through their hard work, they will build the country’s future. Books symbolize hope and opportunity, helping communities rise above poverty’, he stated.

Penpushing also reports that he reiterated that every child in Nigeria deserves access to quality education, and highlighted ongoing government efforts, including renovation and construction of classrooms across the state, provision of furniture and instructional materials, continuous teacher training, as well as monitoring and supervision of schools.

The beneficiaries include Emmanuel Anglican Primary II, Keesi, Abeokuta, Imo Methodist Primary School, Oke Yeke, St. Peter Claver’s School, Oke Efon, NUD Primary School, Oke Ijeun, Anglican School, Elega and Muslim Model Primary School, Ago Oko

Penpushing reports that others are AUD Primary School II, Ija Offa, Kudirat Abiola Model School, Ebu Alaparo, Obafemi Owode Local Government School II, Adigbe, Odeda Local Government Primary School, Agbaakin Ilupeju, Moshood Abiola Model School III, Fajol Ajegunle and Community Primary School, Morekete
