Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has affirmed that regular and active sex life contributes to a woman’s radiant appearance, emphasizing that it equally makes them glow, adding that on her part she is getting more than enough.
Penpushing reports that she made this known while appearing on ‘The Morayo Show’, where she spoke candidly about her personal life, family and career, as well as a single mother, and becoming a grandmother.
“I think it’s about the person that you’re with. Sex has a lot to do with a woman’s glow. I’m getting more than enough. It makes me feel good, happy, and fulfilled. We (single mothers) are happy. I think some married women are happy too. I don’t think it’s about being single or being married’.
The actress reflected on her journey as a single mother, explaining that raising her children and watching them succeed remains one of her greatest achievements, adding that her accomplishments over the years have given her a deep sense of fulfilment and happiness.
Penpushing further reports that Ojo stated that becoming a grandmother has changed her perspective, especially when it comes to engaging in public disputes and responding to criticism, adding that she now chooses her battles carefully to avoid exposing her daughter and her new family to unnecessary controversy.
“I have piped down because of my grandson now. My daughter is married, so when I keep fighting, the opposite side is going to come up with different false allegations, and I don’t want her going through any stress. But if the need arises for me to speak up, then I will,” she said.
Penpushing also reports that the actress explained that she travelled to Canada to perform the traditional omugwo for her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, following the birth of her grandson, adding that she ensured her former husband played a prominent role during their daughter’s wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in 2025.
The actress, said she deliberately put aside her personal differences with her former husband because she did not want their separation to affect their daughter, insisting that whatever existed between them should not be transferred to their children.
