A Pressure Group known as Integrated Supporters for Osinbajo(ISO) has emerged in Ogun State to work towards ensuring that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo secure the ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) to enable him contest the 2023 Presidential election.
Penpushing reports that, South-West Coordinator of the group, Chief Samson Oderinde led the members on a rally round Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital to coordinate support for Osinbajo, who is an indigene of the state.
The team leader while speaking explained that the group is out to showcase the qualities and competence of Osinbajo who recently announced his interest to rule the country in the next political dispensation.
Penpushing further reports that, Oderinde affirmed that the aspirant is a thoroughbred , intelligent and well built to serve Nigeria at the top echelon of public service, that is the presidency ,adding that he has tenancy of purpose
‘He(Osinbajo) has tenancy of purpose, he can be relied upon by Nigerians to uplift the economy, offers political and social lives of Nigerians, as a lawyer he is knowledgeable about the rights of Nigerians and knows how to ensure those rights are well met’, Oderinde emphasized
The coordinator added that the group will ensure victory for Osinbajo at the general elections, stressing that he has been tested several time under President Muhammad Buhari, hence, he remains the right choice to take over from the President
‘He has been tested several time when President is not around and performed beyond imagination of Nigerians. In addition, he is pillar of success of the country. This is a man who convincingly and intelligently quelled misunderstanding and destructive tendencies of agitated youths in the South-South who were breaking petroleum pipelines some few years ago with reckless abandon’.
Penpushing also reports that, Oderinde expressed optimism that if Osinbajo is allowed to rule the country, there will be peace, tranquility and development, stressing that ,the rally is to course awareness.
