A member Editorial Board of Penpushing media Eddy Aina and frontline member of the platform who is also a veteran journalist and traditional ruler of Akinale in Owu Kingdom of Egbaland, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye are to be honour with awards for their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the society.
Penpushing reports that the award is part of the second edition of the annual lecture of PR Primus Limited in conjunction with the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)scheduled to hold in Abeokuta.
The statement by the organisers explained that the ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Kuto, Abeokuta at noon, adding that the theme of the lecture is “Building Citizens’ Trust In Governance”.
Penpushing further reports that the statement said President and Chairman of Council, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Dr. Ike Neliaku, will deliver the lecture, while Olowu of Owu, Oba Saka Matemilola is the chairman.
The PR Primus Limited added in the statement made available to Penpushing Media that the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abodun is the Chief Host of the day, stating that empowerment scheme for indigent students geared towards assisting them to fulfil their destinies will debut at the event.
Penpushing also reports that other awardees include Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, Mrs Tolulope Oguntokun, Chief Segun Odegbami and Chief Bukola Olopade, as well as the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies.
