A frontline member of Penpushing and ambassador designate, Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola, who was also a former Nigerian Minister, has been posted as the country’s High Commissioner in the United Kingdom
Penpushing reports that, this was contained in a list of the approved posting of a total of 95 ambassadors with reference number MFA/PR/2021/04 by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory(FCT),Ambassador Gabriel Aduda.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform that His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the posting of Ambassador-Designates to Nigerian Missions abroad’,the statement reads.
“The list includes 43 Career Ambassadors and 52 Non-career Ambassadors.With this development, the process of requesting Agrement from the prospective host countries have commenced.
“The Ministry also wishes to inform that there will be an induction course for the Ambassador-Designates and their spouses which will hold on a date to be announced shortly to prepare and facilitate movement of the Envoys to their respective Missions.”
