The traditional ruler of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso has distanced himself from a fraud suspect, Halimot Tejuosho declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Penpushing reports that the anti-graft agency in a statement declaring Tejuosho, a known socialite and political operator wanted, disclosed that the suspect was involved in allegations bordering on obtaining money by false pretence totalling N603.4million.
The monarch in a statement issued by his Press Officer, Sesan Bankole, in reaction to insinuation that the suspect is his wife or family member, explained that the wanted suspect is not his relation, either by blood, birth, marriage or religion.

‘Let it be made abundantly clear that the embattled politician is neither an Olori (Wife) nor blood relation of Oba Dr Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso. Her name is spelt Tejuosho (with an H), while Oba Dr Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso’s family name has no H’’, the statement added
‘Unfortunately, some search engines including Google are equally peddling this misinformation, which should now be promptly corrected. Dr (Mrs) Halimat Adenike Tejuosho is not related to Oba Dr Adedapo Adewale Tejuoso, Osile Oke-Ona Egba, either by marriage, religion or blood
Penpushing further reports that the first-class royal father equally disassociated himself from a coronet Oba in Egbaland, Oba Adetokunbo Tejuosho, Olu of Kemta who was enmeshed in financial and fraudulent online marriage
‘Please note that there is another Oba Adetokunbo Tehuosho who became a coronet Oba in Egbaland about three or four years ago. His title is Olu of Kemta in the outskirts of Abeokuta.
