The Nigeria’s former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is to lead dignitaries to the 70th birthday ceremony of the renowned gospel musician, Evangelist (Dr Funmi Aragbaye, a programme scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
Penpushing reports that the one-day activities of the birthday ceremony will hold on July 28, 2024 at Felicia Hall of Jogor Centre, Liberty Road in the ancient town by 1pm, and designed to attract guests across the globe.
The celebrator who is the former President of Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria, while speaking in an interview with Penpushing Media explained that the the programme is aimed to appreciate God over four decades of her divine call for gospel music industry
‘I am celebrating 70th birthday over four decades of divine call to gospel music ministry, and to celebrate God’s faithfulness. Former President His Excellency Chief Olusegun Okikiola Obasanjo is the father of day’, Aragbaye said.
Penpushing further reports that other programme of the events include unveiling of biography of the celebrator, as well as foundation launch for the less privileged in the society, while Pastor Enoch Adeboye General Overseer of Redeem Christians Church of God (RCCG) worldwide is the spiritual father of the day.
The other notable dignitaries to grace the occasion are Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Osile Oke-Ona Egba, Oba (Dr) Adedapo Tejuoso as the royal fathers of the day, as well as Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde as the Chief host.
