The League of Veteran Journalists, Oyo State Chapter has congratulated the President elect and the Commander in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Penpushing reports that in the congratulatory message signed by Banjo Ogundele(Chairman) and Taiye Adegoke(Secretary) respectively said the victory of Tinubu was not a fluke, having really worked hard to sell himself to the electorate
‘Your resounding success was no fluke because you really worked hard to sell yourself to the people across the length and breadth of the country. The race was tough but you overcame all odds through your resilience and doggedness’, the letter reads.
‘With your antecedent as a Senator and particularly as a two-term Governor of Lagos State, which you, by dint of excellence and hardwork, turned into one of the fastest growing economies in the world’ the letter stated.
Penpushing further reports that the veteran journalists expressed optimism that Tinubu will deploy his God-given energy and management acumen to select proven technocrats to take the country to better and higher level

You have a track record, as we already said, and we are sure you will do it again on a larger scale for the nation, yearning for development and change in the right direction, and for humanity’, the letter emphasised.
‘We wish you good health of mind and body that will enable you succeed in the daunting task, among which are security, the economy, fuel,energy,decaying educational system, the healthcare delivery and the welfare of the aged and employment for the youths. We wish you resounding success. Please accept the assurance of our very best regards and good wishes at all times’.
