A member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Abeokuta South constituency under the banner of the ruling All progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State Chapter, Hon Lanre Edun has declared that,he would not stop in making meaningful impact in his constituency.
Penpushing reports that, Edun made this known during an interactive session with journalists, adding that his love and passion to give back to the society, most importantly made him join politics in the 2003 and will remain committed to the governed
The federal lawmaker who was elected in 2019 to represent Abeokuta South at the House of Representatives and now been encouraged by a pressure group to consider second term emphasised that welfare of his people and residents of his constituency as well as Ogun State at large remains priority for him.
‘’i will not stop in making meaningful impact in my constituency. Welfare of my people and residents as well as Ogun State has remained priority for me. And I will continue doing this, which was my pledge to the electorate before my election’, Edun stated
Penpushing further reports that, while enumerating some of his achievements in office, he said as a member of House of Representatives he has facilitated a lot of life changing projects for his constituents and the state
The former Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government explained that the feats ranges from massive educational books, modern table and chairs, computer systems, generating set, building of blocks of classrooms in different schools, road constructions, borehole projects, massive solar lights, brand new transformers to various communities, skill acquisition and cash empowerments, massive empowerment projects, job opportunities for youths.
Penpushing also reports that, the former Special Adviser on Environment to Ogun State Government in 2015 through early 2019, is known to have been feeding thousands of aged man and women in his constituency and promised that he would ensure the continuity.
