The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2026 Osun governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence that he would win and urged the police and other security operatives to be proactive in ensuring the security of the state’s people.
Penpushing reports that Oyebamiji sounded confidence shortly after casting his vote alongside his wife, Sekinat at his polling unit, Unit 11, Ward 9, Open Space Gantry Sawmill, Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area of the state.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer commended the voter turnout, pointing out that it shows that people are not intimidated, and generally, things are going on fine across the state.
“INEC (people) are here; the voters are here; security operatives are here. I want to commend the large turnout of voters in Ikire. It shows that people are not intimidated, and generally, things are going on fine across the state’, he said.
Penpushing further reports that Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO emphasized that he believes the election will be credible, and confident that he would be the elected governor of the state at the end of the day.
