The College of Broadcasting on Friday organized a seminar for drivers to reduce carnage on highways, with torrential appreciation to the management of the institution for the initiative, said to be relevant and an antidote to reducing hazards on the roads.

Penpushing reports that, the one day seminar was held in Hall 2 of the institution which is affiliated to the Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital with large number of participants in attendance

The general submission of the participants at the seminar with the theme,’ Enhancing Your Brand Image Through Drivers Attitude” which took place at the college campus located in Opako-Adigbe area of the town was commendation for the college.

Penpushing further reports that, a participant, Dennis Onubuogo of Babcock Group of Schools, Ogba, in his remarks said through the seminar he has learnt a lot that will change his attitude towards driving, adding that the seminar was a wonderful way to educate people behind the wheels.

The staff of Taidob College, Abeokuta Akintoye Ajayi David as well as his counterpart, Segun Oyedepo of Levikan International College, Ibadan in their own submissions pointed out that the seminar amplifies the importance of imbibing the culture of civility towards students, parents, other road users and co workers.

Penpushing also reports that, Oyedepo however recommended that organisations invest in the training of their drivers through such seminars as their attitude determines expectations from the public.

The participant from Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC), Dimeji Sodamola admitted to have gained a lot on how to improve on his attitude as driver noting that the idea of an ambassador for his organization now has new meaning to him.

Penpushing reports that, Sodamola noted that the seminar was impressive and important to make drivers more effective and professional in their attitude towards duties.

Meanwhile, the Provost of the College of Broadcasting, Dr Ayoola Ajasa, facilitated the seminar while certificate of participation were also presented  to each participant by the College registrar Mr Fatai Akinbola.
