The remains of Adebisi Edionsere, a Nigerian frontline socialite and business tycoon who died on Sunday at age 89 were on Monday committed to mother earth within compound of her palatial residence located at Government Reservation Area(GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

Penpushing reports that she was buried precisely 4pm according to Islamic rites, after earlier prayers on the corpse by Islamic clerics,  and thereafter there was Islamic sermon by league of imams conducted by Sheikl Iskeel Awwal popularly Sugar
The burial attracted number of dignitaries which include Chief Olusegun Obasanjo(former President) ,Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun who led Government delegation, Senator Ibikunle Amosun(former Governor), Ambassador Sarafa Isola(Former Nigerian Ambassador to United Kingdom), Olatokunbo Olopade(Ogun State Chief Judge), Salimot Badru(former Deputy Governor Ogun State), Hon Gboyega Isiaka, Adejoke Bello(Chairman National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives), Senator Iyabo Obasanjo and Hon Femi Ilori(Ogun State Commissioner of Rural Development) among others
Penpushing further reports that Governor Abiodun in his speech at well attended burial said he was devastated when he heard the news, recalling that the deceased was still with him on January 2, 2025 at a wedding ceremony and was very active.
The Governor added that late Edinosere was even reminding him of her forthcoming 90th birthday and that he equally promised her that Ogun State Government is going to play major role to make the birthday remarkable, not knowing that she won’t live to witness the birthday.
“Mama was with us and active on January 2, we were at a wedding together where she continued to remind me of her upcoming birthday. She told me what role I should play at that birthday. I was devastated over the demise. Man proposes, God disposes”, Abiodun said.
Penpushing also reports that he, however, promised that the state government will still organised posthumous 90th birthday for the deceased who he emphasised  was a self made woman, a philanthropist per excellence who was well responsible for the wellbeing of her biological children and adopted children
“She was a self made woman. Successful and philanthropist per excellence. She touched many lives, she has her biological children and adopted children.  We should always have second thoughts about what will say about us when we die. We are still going to do 90th posthumous birthday. God will grant her soul permanent rest”, the Governor stated
Penpushing reports that Obasanjo speaking briefly with journalists said the deceased lived a fulfilled life, whose legacies will remain relevant for long time and prayed for her soul to rest in perfect peace
