The mother of a member of Penpushing platform, Wale Ajayi, Mrs. Bernice Amoke Ajayi, Nee Bamgboye has died at age of 90 years, who was described as a loving, virtuous, and devout Christian.
Penpushing reports that the son, who is a Protocol/Media Officer of the Civil Defence College of Security Management, Abeokuta, confirmed the death is a statement, adding that the matriarch of the Kobejo/Ajayi family of Igan-Alade, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State died on July 19, 2026
‘The family of the late ace Anglican organist, Pa D. O. Ajayi has announced the final burial rites for his widow, Late Mrs. Bernice Amoke Ajayi (Nee Bamgboye). The nonagenarian, born on April 2, 1936, was until her demise, the matriarch of the Kobejo/Ajayi family of Igan-Alade, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State’, Ajayi wrote.
Penpushing further reports that the family is statement said, the funeral activities, which will be a celebration of a fulfilled life, will span two days, to commence on Thursday, November 19, 2026, with a Service of Songs at the Kobejo/Ajayi Family Compound, Igan-Alade, between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
‘The burial proper will be held on Friday, November 20, 2026, with a funeral service at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Ketu Archdeaconry, Igan-Alade, Yewa North, Ogun State, from 10:00am to 12:00 noon. Interment follows immediately after the church service, while reception and entertainment of guests will be held at the Yewa Central Anglican Primary School Field, Igan-Alade, from 12:00 noon onwards’, Ajayi stated.
Penpushing also reports that the family described their late mother as a loving, virtuous, and devout Christian whose legacies of discipline, selflessness, and Godliness remain indelible, and enjoined guests to join them as they give her a befitting final farewell.
