The Federal Government Radio Station, Paramount F.M located in Abeokuta on Thursday trashed the Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy 5-3 in a tension soaked soccer encounter held at the Moshood Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta, the state capital to secure third place position
Penpushing reports that the competition was organized by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State Chapter, which was sponsored by Opulent Company with headquarters in Abeokuta
The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) workers are on the payroll of the Federal Government led by President Muhammed Buhari, while staffers of Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy are on the payroll of Governor Dapo Abiodun led Government.
Penpushing further reports that the two soccer teams participated in the 5-day tournament and secured tickets to the semi-final stage, having defeated some of the participating teams from various chapels which formed the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN)
The management of Penpushing media, as part of the organisation’s contributions to the championship offered cash gift of N10,000 each for the best player and best goals scorer respectfully at the final of the tournament which recorded number of spectators, including leadership of the Ogun State Sports Council,heads of media stations and media managers among others

The Ogun State Ministry of Information and Strategy on it’s own part defeated Nigeria Television Authority( NTA) Abeokuta 5-1 while Consolidated Chapel also defeated Ogun State Television (OGTV) 4-3
