The United States of America (USA) new President, Joe Biden and his Vice, Kamala Harris were on Wednesday sworn in and took oath of office performed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Penpushing reports that Biden took the oath of office using his 127-year-old family Bible, at a ceremony held under tight security, with 25,000 National Guards troops in Washington DC, while he is the oldest President to enter the White House as first timer in office
The 78 year old Biden and democrat will be the 46th President to rule the country and was a former Senator and ex-Vice President to former President Barack Obama, and he(Biden) is the second Catholic to be elected as President after J. F Kennedy.
Penpushing further reports that, inauguration of Biden who is from Delaware took place at the church former President J.F Kennedy used for his inauguration service, while in his inaugural speech Biden pledged to unite the American people,adding, ”I will be a President for all Americans,” .
