The Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that being a Governor has taught him a lesson to be tolerant, adding that, that has been working for him in keeping  governance  going with peace of mind.

Penpushing reports that Abiodun made this known on Sunday as a guest at the 18th Annual Thanksgiving Service held at Abraham’s Tabernacle Worship Centre, Sagamu, organized by former Governor Gbenga Daniel.

The Governor disclosed that before now, he used not to be tolerant, adding that the office of the Governor changed this posture, stressing that his pledge was to be a leader and not a ruler, as well as implement people oriented projects.

‘The office of the Governor has taught me to be tolerant, and that has been keeping me going. Before now I used not to be tolerant. As you increase your faith, your hope increases. I promised to implement people oriented project’, he stated

‘I promised to be a leader and not a ruler. As we approach 2023 election people should get type of leader they want and not a ruler. Your Permanent Voter Cards is to get you a leader and not a ruler’, Abiodun emphasized

Penpushing further reports that he encouraged electorate to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC), stressing that it is through the Permanent Voter Cards (PCV), they would be able to get good leaders for good governance

‘Let us go and collect our Permanent Voter Cards. It is through that Permanent Voter Cards, that we can continue to enjoy good governance. We should be mindful of the importance, so let every eligible electorate collect their PVC’, he stated
