The Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been molested by a suspected aggrieved Nigerian who met him at a restaurant, where he (Aregbesola) had gone to have a meal in United States of America (USA)
Penpushing reports that, the altercation between Aregbesola who doubles as former Governor of Osun State and the American resident Nigerian, was contained in about 3 minutes video which went viral, where Aregbesola took to his heels.
The male Nigerian had approached the Nigerian Minister who was busy to have a buffet, and extended greetings to Aregbesola, saying hello to him, and in response the Minister, apparently sensing danger left the buffet spot in a hurry
Penpushing further reports that, Aregbesola was sighted in the video with a plate of salad and cup of tea, and immediately had a dialogue with his leg, to relocate to a seat within the restaurant, while the male voice continued to record the scene.
The Minister at this stage, became uncomfortable and challenged the man for recording him without his authority, and the Nigerian in response, bluntly told Aregbesola that, he should realized he is in America, and not Nigeria, where they are notorious with illegality
Penpushing also reports that, Aregbesola having secured a seat after first series of the melodrama, offered the Nigerian, to sit, which he(Nigerian) bluntly rejected and continued to record Aregbesola, who in return stood to protest
The embarrassed Minister vehement protested the recording and in attempt to block the rcording with his hand, the Nigerian declared that, Aregbesola cannot stop him recording him, arguing that, even American President, Biden cannot stop him
‘I am a Nigerian and when I saw you and recognize you. This is America, this is not Nigeria, you can’t touch my phone. This is a free country. I can do what I like in America. Biden can’t tell me that, this is America. Don’t touch me if you touch me I wil sue you, this Is America. You are not in Nigeria, you are in America, you are not in Nigeria, where you do rubbish you are known with’, the Nigerian told Aregbesola
