The Abeokuta Club located along Presidential Boulevard Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital has concluded arrangements to organize an evening of tributes for the late industrialist, Chief Tunde Abudu, who died at 96.
Penpushing reports that Publicity Secretary of the Club, Olatude Oluwasola made this known in a statement explaining that the tribute scheduled to hold from 4pm, will take place at Alake Hall of the club
‘As part of the activities of the funeral of the life president and chairman board of trustees of Abeokuta Club, Chief Olatunde Ayinla Abudu, an evening of tributes organized by Abeokuta club will take place on Saturday 14th June 2025 at the Alake Hall, Abeokuta club beginning from 4pm’, the statement reads
Penpushing further reports that Oluwasola in the statement added that the abridged version of a documentary titled, ‘Life and Time of Chief Ayinla Abudu will be shown at the event, apart from other remarkable activities slated for the evening.
The statement stated that expected at the event are family and children of Chief Olatunde Abudu, important dignatries from all over Nigeria, elders and members of Abeokuta club and general public
