The United States of America (USA) has declared that it would hold the Niger Republic coupists responsible and accountable for the safety of democratically elected President Mohamed Bazoum, his family, and detained members of the government.

The American Government in the statement threw its weight and support behind the Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) over its determination to explore all options for the peaceful resolution of the crisis.

Penpushing further reports that United States of America (USA) it is recalled recently paused certain foreign assistance programmes for Niger Republic after the military junta overthrew the democratically elected government of President Bazoum.
