The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogun State Chapter has said that, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has subjected the state under intensive care, which required urgent attention to be provided by the opposition party effective from next political dispensation.
Penpushing reports that, youth leader of the party, Sunkanmi Oyejide made this known in a statement of appreciation to all party members and other stakeholders who participated in its recently rally of the court victory, adding that the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) is now jittery as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) bounced back in better form
“Ogun State APC is presently in intensive care and I know that they will not get better until the party packs up on the 25th of February 2023 and their remains will be buried on the 11th of March 2023.The truth of the matter is that our long lost love that we have now found has put the dying APC into problems and jeopardy. The very unique way we flagged off our campaign has sent shivers to their spines”, he said
Penpushing further reports that, Oyejide expressed appreciation to the youths of State who he said are the direct victims of maladministration, wickedness, high handedness and insensitivity of the ruling party.
” I appreciate them for standing with our party and coming out in their thousands to join myself and other leaders of our party in the victory walk for all. PDP Candidates. It is with great sense of humility that I write to appreciate the teeming members of the soon- to – be- inaugurated ruling party in Ogun State, the Peoples Democratic Party”, Oyejide stated.
The results of the Victory walk has furthered emboldened us and the people of Ogun State that our victory is assured and our hopes will not be dashed. I specially thank and appreciate my hardworking and phenomenal candidate of our party and the incoming Governor of Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu for his support, motivation and encouragement for the youths of Ogun State”, he added.
“I have no doubt that my Chairman, my leader and number one party man in Ogun State will lead us to victory at the polls next year. Thank You Dr. Sikirulahi Ogundele, the indefatigable State Chairman for always standing by the youths and the young persons. Hon. Adekunle Akinlade has again shown capacity and the reason he is loved by all and sundry. I specially thank my Incoming Deputy Governor for his support and motivation”, Oyejide added.
“On behalf of Ogun State Youths, I thank Chief Olumide Aderinokun, our next Senator (Ogun central) and Hon. Toyin Amuzu for their encouragement, love, support and motivation. I thank all the Candidates of our Party for their unending support for the youths of our party as displayed during the victory walk. We are grateful” he stated
