The elder sister of a frontline member of Penpushing platform, Sir Folu Olamiti, has died at age 83 on Friday, October 18, 2024 in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital after a prolonged ailment, and left behind six children as well as many grandchildren
Penpushing reports that Olamiti a renowned veteran journalist and Publisher of Newspot online Newspapers made this known in a statement, explaining that the deceased Mrs Christie Oluwakaikun Adebamiwa(née Olamiti) was the wife of the late Venerable Joshua Adediran Adebamiwa, who died earlier in February 26, 2024.

Penpushing further reports that the statement by Olamiti, a younger brother to the deceased stated that she was a consummate educationist who served as a Principal in many Secondary Schools in Ile-Ife and Oshogbo, Osun State.
‘These include Ooni Girls High School, Ife Girls High school, Ife City College all in Ile- Ife,Baptist Girls High School, Osogbo, Fakunle Comprehensive High School Osogbo and Iwo Grammar School’, Olamiti added.
Penpushing also reports that the family stated that after her retirement, she went into full-time church activities and became a lay reader at St Peters Anglican Church, Ede, Osun State and was the Iya-ijo of the church.
The younger brother, a Publisher, Media Consultant, and Director of Media in the Primate office of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, in the statement said funeral arrangements will be announced later by the family.
