Three persons were reported killed in a Tuesday night road crash within the axis of Indomie towards Kara along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, a crash said to involve a Volvo truck with registration number JJJ730XY
Penpushing reports that, the Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ahmed Umar who confirmed the crash said total number of five persons were involved.
The Commander as at the time of filing this report disclosed that three persons were reported dead, adding that two corpses had being recovered while efforts were ongoing to recover the third victim said to have been trapped
Penpushing further reports that, Umar said the suspected cause of the lone crash was that the vehicle light was not functioning properly, and coupled with excessive speed, which led to loss of control.
The Sector Commander described the crash as avoidable act and reiterated on excessive speed, dangerous driving among motorists especially at night when visibility is poor, and enjoined members of public to contact the Mowe command of the corps for details of the crash and reclaim the properties of the victims recovered from the scene of the crash
