The Methodist Church of Nigeria has called on President Bola Tinubu to seek Solomon’s wisdom in navigating the affairs of Nigeria for the betterment of the citizens, as well as a country as a whole, stressing that it is the spillover over of what has been happening that led to the present hardship.

Penpushing reports that Prelate of the Church, His Eminence Oliver Ali Aba gave the advice in an interview on Tuesday with journalists shortly after his visit alongside other leaders of Methodist Church of Nigeria to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta.

The clergyman called on Nigerians to join hands with the President for the betterment of the country, pointing out that the shock absorber of individuals towards the hardship should also be notice, as factor to bring joy at end of the day.

‘What is going on is spill over of what has been happening. Let us thank God for the life of Tinubu. When he was in Lagos as Governor he did well. He brought the idea to the federal level. He is straightened Nigeria future. Tinubu needs Solomon’s wisdom’, he stated

Penpushing further reports that Aba called on Nigerians to be gentle and calm for the benefits of all, adding that God goodness and goodies are in the pipeline for every citizen to enjoy, stressing that structural adjustment is best

‘From every look he (Tinubu) has been trying. Structural adjustment is best. If subsidy is proper handle, it will favour Nigerians. We must join hands with Tinubu for better Nigeria. Nigerians must be gentle and calm’, he emphasized

Penpushing also reports that the cleric who disclosed that the church summit scheduled to hold between May 29-3rd June, 2024 in Lagos, is designed to converge Methodist Churches in Africa and look for spiritual solutions in the continent

‘It is a summit of all African Christian leaders. We call ourselves to come together, on how to make African continent better. The summit will hold at Methodist Nigeria in Lagos between May 29-June 3, 2024’, he added

Penpushing reports the Prelate while speaking on the ‘Japa’ syndrome explained that it is the impatience of the youth responsible for such, calling on them that it was not wise enough turning themselves into slavery in foreignland.

The cleric said running away from their country can’t be solution to address the problems, stressing that the youths should not escape from reality, and enjoined them to come back to fix the missing links, because they remain future leaders of the country.

‘Japa came because of impatience. To my understanding of life, it is wherever you are you can make it. If you run away from their nation, who would build it. Youths’ must stop escaping from reality. We don’t need to be a slave. All our youths must come back. Tinubu has answer to their fear’, Aba emphasized
