A member of Penpushing platform, Seun Abati has been appointed as the Public Relations Officer, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro Chapter located in Ogun State
Penpushing reports that election of Abati was received with thunderous cheers by members of the union, describing him as right choice for the office, in view of his track records as proactive media manager and experienced journalist of years of service in media industry.
The new image maker of the body has worked as Information Officer with number of local government councils in Ogun State, and was former Chairman of the Local Government Information Officers Chapel (LOGIC) of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, before joining the academics, and currently on his Doctoral programme in masscommunication, at the Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, also a member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations(NIPR) .
Penpushing further reports that, Abati in response to his election, expressed appreciation to his colleagues and members of union for considering him worth to be the mouthpiece, with a pledge to contribute his quota effectively and positively to uplift the union to greater height.
The management and editorial board of Penpushing Media has congratulated him, affirming his competence in the journalism world, stressing conviction that he would perform creditably well and bring the union to limelight across the globe.
Penpushing also reports the congratulatory forwarded to him by founder of the media organization wished him best of luck on the election and task ahead, urging him to be focus in turning round the image of the union with his journalism practice experience which spanned over years.
