The Management and Editorial Board of Penpushing Media has congratulated Ogun State Broadcastion Corporation (OGBC) on the 45 year anniversary of active and proactive journalism practice and commended the management on its resilience in the media world
Penpushing reports that, in the congratulatory letter signed by Penpushing Media Founder, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji pointed out that, the editorial board and management expressed pride for being associated with Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation(OGBC) team
‘The Editorial Board and Management of Penpushing Media, including all stakeholders across the globe write to congratulate Ogun State Broadcsting Corporation on its 45 years anniversary in active journalism practice’, the letter reads.
‘We are so delighted in associating with the management and the entire team of the radio station, which no doubt has been consistently consistent in best journalism practice, which has made Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation(OGBC) a household name globally’, Kayode-Adedeji wrote.
‘The Penpushing Media is also proud to be associated with the entire team for their doggedness in ensuring that inspite of all odds, the radio station has continued and remained a reference point in the journalism world’.
Penpushing further reports that, the letter sent to the General Manager of the station, Toyin Sogbesan, pointed out that the success story of the station will be incomplete without making reference to the new initiative of the organization which is the introduction of an online broadcast
‘The success story of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation is not complete without mentioning a new and recent feat recorded by the management, which is the innovation of online broadcast, and we want to affirm that, this no doubt is a welcome development’, the letter added.
‘It is also of note that, since the establishment of the station forty -five years ago, it has remained a listening station from the first day of take off till date, which has brought in a fresh vista and entrenched the new genre of journalism’.
‘The Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation is also noted to be conscious of three functions of journalism which are: to inform, entertain and educate, hence it makes the people to develop a sort of addiction to every of its programme’.
‘In conclusion, as we convey warm felicitation to the entire family of Ogun State Broadcastiong Corporation, we pray that the establishment will continue to grow from strength to strength and attain more higher height’, the letter stated
