A 37-year-old man Muftau Adefalu, has allegedly killed his former wife, Yetunde Olayiwole, in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State following what was described as matrimonial scuffle, while the man has been arrested by the police
Penpushing reports that Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer Omolola Odutola said the incident occurred at about 8:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, as sources said the woman slumped during the scuffle, later rushed to hospital where she was confirmed dead
” The man had a misunderstanding with his ex-wife, which resulted in a fight. She slumped during the scuffle and was immediately taken to a hospital for medical attention. She was later confirmed dead by a doctor on duty. The corpse has been deposited at the Ifo General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The suspect has been arrested and detained’, Odutola stated
Penpushing further reports that the police spokesperson as at the time of filing this report disclosed that the suspect has since been detained, with the state police command confirming that it had begun an investigation into the incident.
