The governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State ahead of 2027 poll, Jimi Lawal has declared that only insane Nigerians will vote for President Bola Tinubu to return for second term in office.
Penpushing reports that Lawal stated this on Friday at a press conference organized by Arewa Political Action Group held at Iwe-Iroyin Press Centre in Abeokuta as part of activities to welcome new entrants into African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The governorship candidate pointed out that the administration of Tinubu has subjected Nigerians to untold hardship which includes abject poverty, mental torture and insecurity among others, adding that the best option is to elect Atiku Abubakar as President to lead the next political dispensation in the country.
Penpushing further reports that Lawal expressed optimism that Tinubu will be edged out with the votes in the forthcoming general elections and urged electorate to stand firm in voting African Democratic Congress (ADC) into power at both federal, states and local governments level
The politician commended the Arewa Political Action Group in efforts to move the country forward, boasting that he has no doubt if Abubakar is voted into power Nigeria will be better, noting that under the present administration the insecurity is going from frying pan to fire.
Penpushing also reports that he emphasized that Tinubu has failed Nigerians and Nigeria, particularly in the area of security, adding that the citizens are suffering, while Tinubu’s family and those working under him are not feeling the heat.
The governorship hopeful on his desire to rule Ogun State identified some cardinal programmes he would introduce if elected which include economy improvement, security, welfare, human capital development, free education at nursey and primary school levels, infrastructure and good governance among others
