The meeting appreciates the efforts so far of Prince Dapo Abiodun to secure the lives and properties of our people in Ogun West who are currently being terrorised by Fulani herdsmen. The meeting further urges the Governor to redouble his efforts on this matter by ensuring adequate security of the people so that normalcy can return to the areas affected within a few days. The meeting also calls on the federal government to provide maximum security support to the State government to achieve this.

The leaders further call on the Governor to intensify his efforts at addressing the infrastructural challenges in Ogun West and declare a state of emergency especially in the area of road network in the District so that before the rain session start fully, Ogun West roads are significantly improved.

The leaders resolve to work very hard to ensure that Ogun West register the highest number of members into the party in the ongoing APC registration/revalidation exercise. The meeting therefore urged all son and daughters of Ogun West to come out enmass and register into the party while also calling on the authority of the party to provide all needed support for the smooth running of the exercise.

The meeting call on members of the party to work in harmony and give free chance to all new entrants into the party to operate in the spirit of the all inclusive policy of Prince Dapo Abiodun.

The meeting condemned the insulations and politically motivated assertions by a particular former federal lawmaker and former gubernatorial candidate from Ogun West concerning the steps taken so far by the state government on the security challenge in Ogun West and unequivocally stated that the said statement by the gubernatorial candidate does not in anyway represent the position of Ogun West APC on this matter. The meeting therefore calls on the former gubernatorial candidate to stop divisive and retrogressive politics and jump into the bandwagon of constructive politics that APC in Ogun State represents.

Finally, the leaders call on all sons and daughters of Ogun West serving in the State government to continue giving 100% loyalty to Governor Dapo Abiodun while also pledging the full support of APC Ogun West to the success of the government.

SIgned:

Alhaji Muhamned Azeez

Senatorial Chairman.

Elder Emmanuel Olaniyi Oguntade

Senatorial Secretary.
