First set of graduands of college of broadcasting launches magazine

The first set of graduands of College of Broadcasting, affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital has launched a magazine known as COBAB briefs, aimed to uplift the college and encourage other undergraduates of the college.

Penpushing reports that, the coloured and well packaged magazine is edited by a season journalist and lecturer at the college, Dara Folarin with contributions of the Provost, Dr Ayo Ajasa, who wrote prelude captioned, ’COBAB: A Worth While Experience’ as well as management and board of the college and number of lecturers.

The magazine offered the graduands who are now certified broadcasters to share their various experiences during the duration of the course, as well as their views about the college and their future plans having acquired academic feat in broadcast journalism.

Penpushing further reports that the college is the brain child of Freelance Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) led by a vibrant and foremost broadcast journalist, Desmond Nwachukwu, with the college affiliated to the famous Crescent University, Abeokuta.

The College of Broadcasting, affiliate of Crescent University, Abeokuta on October 15, 2022 produced first set of graduating students among the total number of 446 graduates of the institution which was the 14th convocation ceremony.

Penpushing also reports that the ceremony held at the university campus on Km 5 Ayetoro road, Lafenwa in Abeokuta had in attendance number of dignitaries within and outside the country which include Chief Olusegun Osoba, former Governor of Ogun State and Emir of Kazaura, Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu who is the Pro-Chancellor of the university among others

The graduands who were confirmed as certified broadcasters by the university authorities include Musiliu Sanni, Saheed Amidu, Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, Sunkami Oyejide, Esther Famosun, Akinloye Bankole, Ayobami Ismail and Monsuru Olalekan.

Penpushing further reports that others are Hakeem Adegbenro, Silas Iji, Olimde Awolowo, Peter Ogunleye, Owoyabu Soliu, Yetunde Aisida, Michael Ogunleye, Adeola Adeyemi, Olusoji Akindiya  Aderoju Ogundiran
