A midnight fire has gutted the Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) Sacramento in California United States of America (USA), consuming and damaged valuables, but no life lost in the incident.
Penpushing reports that the fire started on the exterior, and was able to make its way inside the building, and equally made its way up into the roof, however, nobody was found in or around the building
The branch Pastor in charge of the church, Gbenga Talabi who confirmed the incident explained that the sudden fire outbreak occurred at about 2am, adding that the cause was yet to be known as at the time of filing this report.
The General Overseer of the Church with headquarters located in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, Nigeria, Reverend Lawrence Achudume also confirmed the fire incident, adding that he got first hand information of the incident from the church branch pastor.
Penpushing further reports that following the sudden outbreak, the neighbours quickly contacted the fire service and responded to curtail the fire, but admitted that there were extensive damages.
The Cleric affirmed that no life was lost, however, the cause yet to be known, adding that investigation has started by the authorities, and that the premises as at the time of filing this report has been condoned off for security reason
