A Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ijanikin Police Station, Bolaji Olugbenga with Lagos State Police Command was said to have slumped in the office and died before he could be rushed to a hospital on Thursday night.
Penpushing reports that the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, but was, however, silence on details of the death as at the time of filing this report.
The sad development threw the officers attached to the station into mourning, while a source, however, confirmed that the body of the officer had been moved to a mortuary as at the time of filing this report on Saturday
