An alleged fake journalist identified as Dayo Olayiwola has been unveiled for distorting news aired by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) aimed to discredit former Governorship aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State Chapter, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo.
Penpushing reports that the Yoruba Crew of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) had engaged Obasanjo in exclusive interview at the Pent House, Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) later aired the interview as conducted; however, Olayiwola visited the website of the renowned world media organization and distorted the information as contained and posted on his Facebook.
Penpushing further reports twisted the story to his taste, which has been discovered as a hatchet job, and equally screen shot the photograph of the news, which he used to support the falsehood.
The alleged fake journalist, realizing the consequence of the misinformation he posted on social media has since gone into hiding, however, sources informed that the authorities of the media outlet is said to be on the trail of the suspect
