All Progressives Congress Apex leaders lament exit of Fadairo, says withdrawal from active politics painful

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Apex leaders in Ifo local government area of Ogun State on Tuesday said they were pained with the withdrawal of immediate past chairman of the body, Elder Joju Fadairo from partisan politics.

Penpushing reports that the forum led by Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ifo local government area, Barrister Olumide Oduwole made this known during appreciation visit to Fadairo at his private residence in Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta

The forum emphasized that they would remain grateful to the octogenarian mentorship in their political journey, affirming that he(Fadairo) has remain a shinning example, whose records in positively shaping their political career cannot be put aside.

‘When we read about your exit from partisan politics we were surprised and pained, but we had no choice than to abide with your decision, and we thereafter resolved to visit you to appreciate your mentorship’, Oduwole said

Penpushing further reports that the group pointed out that throughout the tenure of Fadairo, as their leader, they have never lost any election, a clear record of his genuine leadership qualities, and equally thanked God for his (Fadairo) life

‘We have never lost elections since you have been leading us, and it is in this regard, we deem it important to come to appreciate you and thank God for your life. No doubt, we are going to miss you. However, we still need your counselling’, he added

Penpushing also reports that Fadairo in response, emphasized that he left active politics to take rest, explaining that he holds no grudges with anybody, and equally appreciated the group for honour bestowed on him.

The retired veteran politician stated that being old does not take away his agility, assuring them that he would continue to be with them in spirit, and showed prayers on them on their thoughtfulness to check on him

‘I thank God for bringing all of us together. God will honour you as you came to honour me. I am old does not mean I am not agile. I am with all of you. You have honoured me; God will continue to honour you. I am really appreciative for honouring me’, Fadairo stressed

Penpushing reports that other members on the visit include Ogbeni Kolawole Isola(Apex Secretary),  Chief Derin Adebiyi, Hon Idris Kusimo,(Ifo Local Government Chairman), Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo(Former Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly), Hon.Adijat Adeleye(House of Representatives Candidate, Ifo /Ewekoro Federal Constituency)  and Aare Tunde Alabi

The others are Hon Bamidele Obadina, Hon Yomi Collins, Hon Dapo Adeyemi, Hon Johnson Olu Fatoki, Hon Moruf Paramole, Hon Fola Salami, Hon Saheed Ariori, Hon Oluwole Enilolobo, Hon Kikelomo Delano and Pastor Mathew Oladele
