The Consensus Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State ahead of the 2027 poll, Senator Solomon Adeola popularly called Yayi, on Thursday delivered a maiden official acceptance speech to members of the party.
Penpushing reports that Adeola sounding victorious ahead of the general election delivered his maiden official speech at the stakeholders meeting of the ruling party held at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arean in Abeokuta.
‘When elected by the grace of God as the governor of our dear state, I will not only sustain and build upon the achievements, but further ensure rancour-free political interaction in the state’, he stated
“I am very conscious of the honour done to me with my historic emergence as the consensus candidate of the ruling party in our dear state. I will not take it for granted and will work assiduously to sustain it in the years ahead,” he stated.
Penpushing further reports that he pledged to embark on a thank-you tour of all 74 wards in Ogun Central after the party’s primary, adding that he will sustain the tradition of peaceful and consensual transition of administrations in the state if elected and assume power.
The consensus candidate equally thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun after presenting him to members of the party at Ogun Central Senatorial District, and admitted that the governor contributed massively to the socio-economic and political development of the state,
Penpushing also reports that Adeola, who is Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriation stressed that it was gratifying that another affirmation took place in the district of his maternal origin.
