A 31-year -old man Cole Allen, who lived in Los Angeles has scared President Donald Trump with gunshots during a correspondents’ dinner held in White House, United States of America (USA), while trump had to be rushed out from the venue.
Penpushing reports that the lone gunman said to be a teacher stormed the venue of the dinner and fired the shots outside the hall, which saw Trump, his Vice JD Vance and other guests scampering for safety.
The gunman was, however, later arrested while security officials rushed at Trump on stage to protect him alongside his Vice and rushed him out of the venue, but fell briefly while being escorted out.
Penpushing further reports that as at the time of filing this report the shooter’s motive was yet to be established and it was not clear if he was a guest at the Washington Hilton Hotel where the dinner took place.
The Interim Chief at the Metropolitan Police Department, Jeffery Carroll, at a press conference late Saturday, however, on preliminary investigation said the authorities do believe he was a guest at the hotel
Penpushing also report that Trump speaking later on the ugly development after he had been successfully rushed of the venue said the suspect was armed with multiple weapons.
