Oladimeji Alli (Intern)

A landlord in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital, Oladeinde has dragged a female tenant to customary court sitting in Ake for allegedly engaging in promiscuous activities and failure to pay rent.

Penpushing reports that the complainant told the court that the tenant Funmilayo Richard was fond of coming home late and in the habit of bringing different types of men to the house, creating disturbances at the gate, and caused inconvenience to other tenants within the premises.

The landlord equally added that the woman was also adamant to pay her house rent as at when due, emphasisng that she is owing a year rent agreement of ₦200,000, and that all efforts to convinced the tenant to turn a new leaf and pay the rent had been abortive

Penpushing further reports that President of the court Oluwafadekemi Okusanya in the ruling on the unpaid rent, ordered the tenant to offset her outstanding rent before end of September and vacate, emphasizing that failure to comply with the order would lead to immediate forfeiture of her stay in the premises.
