The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwazo who is one of the front runners in the 2023 general election is excited and happy that his name and that of his party will feature on the ballot paper in the forthcoming poll.
Penpushing reports that, addressing members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) in Lagos, the 2- time Governor of Kano State, indicated that his party has credible candidates across the country, boasting that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has the largest number of candidates across the country, far more than the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which are older parties.
The former Minister tracing his departure from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) even as a founding member, the Kwakwansiya leader said it was after they had used the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to achieve its major goal of kicking the military out of power that the internal differences of people who populated the party became obvious claiming that the party had no ideology from inception.
Penpushing further reports that, he claims that his adventure into the All Progressive Congress (APC) equally was not fulfilling his aspiration, saying he has finally found the 21- year old New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) as the party whose manifesto captures his beliefs and aspirations.
The former Defense Minister explained that the New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) and Kwankwanziya does not belong to only people with red caps, but also all Nigerians who believe in earning a living, describing them automatic members of the party
