The management of Polytechnic Ibadan has ordered all students of the institution to proceed on immediate end of session vacation as the Institution formally concludes the 2020/2021 Academic Session.
Penpushing reports that this was contained in a statement signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mrs Modupe Fawale which was made available to journalists on Monday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, directing all students to vacate their Halls of Residence on or before 4pm on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022.
The statement added that municipal facilities to the hostels will be disconnected effective from the stated date and time, declaring that any student found violating this directive will be sanctioned accordingly”

“Parents and Guardians and Members of the Public, particularly communities in the neighborhood of The Polytechnic, Ibadan (TPI) such as Apete, Awotan, Idi-ito, Agbaje, Sango, Arola, Ariyiibi and others are to note that Students of The Polytechnic, Ibadan (TPI) are on vacation”,Fawale said
Penpushing further reports that the statement however said resumption for the new academic session, that is, 2021/2022 will be formally announced to the public in due course.
