A Deacon, Francis Ogunnusi with the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Onikoko, Abeokuta in Ogun State Capital has slumped and died while speaking about death in his sermon
Penpushing reports that, the preacher said to be Head of Onikoko community in the town was on Sunday preaching against the get-rich quick syndrome, and its consequence, which he said was an untimely death, when he suddenly slumped.
The Deacon in the sermon also frowned at ritualists who uses humanbeing to make money, stressing that, even after their death, another person will take over the money, and as his message was being interpreted, he suddenly slumped
“The money you make through unlawful means, killing people, sucking human blood; when death comes, it will belong to another person”, the preacher emphasized
Penpushing further reports that, the sudden fall of the Deacon caused commotion in the church, as congregants were seen running helter-skelter to revive him.
The Deacon was later rushed to the hospital, where he was later confirmed dead by the Medical Doctor, and as at the time of filing this report, arrangement was said to be ongoing for his burial
