The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), National Working Committee (NWC) has extended the deadline for submission of already completed nomination forms for state congresses from the earlier announced date of 23 September to 1 October.
Penpushing reports that, the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan made this known in a statement, and listed the affected states as include: Adamawa, Borno, Ebonyi, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos and Oyo.
The spokesman of the opposition party in the statement said the decision of the National Working Committee (NWC) was pursuant to its powers under the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2017 (as amended).
Penpushing further reports that, the National Publicity Secretary advised all critical stakeholders and members in states where state congresses forms had not been concluded to be guided accordingly.
