Ogun State stands at a defining crossroads. After years of promise, potential, and patience, the people are asking one question: _Who has the capacity, compassion, and courage to take Ogun to the next level? _
The answer is becoming clearer by the day. Senator Solomon Adeola YAYI is Ogun’s Gateway to Greatness.
1.A Proven Track Record of Delivery:
From Alimosho to Lagos West, and now representing Ogun West in the Senate, Senator YAYI has built a reputation that precedes him: a man who delivers
Boreholes, schools, empowerment programs, scholarships, and infrastructure — his footprints are visible and verifiable. He does not make noise. He makes impact.
In the National Assembly, he has attracted federal projects and defended the interests of his constituents with vigor. That is the kind of governor Ogun needs: one who knows how to bring resources home.
2.A Man of the People, From the Markets to the Grassroots:
A true son of the soil understands the pulse of the people. Senator YAYI walks among market women in Lafenwa, listens to traders in Ita-Osu, and engages farmers in Oja-Odan.
He understands that greatness for Ogun will not come from Abuja grammar alone. It will come from fixing our roads, supporting our MSMEs, securing our farms, and making our markets thrive.
His politics is not elitist. It is people-centered.
3.The Capacity to Govern a Complex State:
Ogun is Nigeria’s industrial gateway. We border Lagos, we host the largest number of factories, and we have three senatorial districts with different needs.
Governing Ogun requires experience, federal relationships, and financial intelligence. Senator YAYI has all three.
As Chairman of the Senate Committee on llAppropriations, he understands budgets. As a 6-term legislator (of 24 years), he understands governance. As a grassroots politician, he understands the people.
4.A Vision for a Greater Ogun:
Imagine an Ogun where:
– Our roads connect every local government without potholes and pain
– Our youths are skilled, employed, and exporting talent globally
– Our farmers have storage, markets, and mechanization
– Our security is prioritized from Yewa to Ijebu to Egba
– Our IGR works for the people, not just for the books
That is the Ogun Senator YAYI envisions. A Gateway State that truly becomes the Gateway to Nigeria’s Greatness.
Conclusion: It Is Time
Greatness is not an accident. It is a choice.
Ogun has been waiting. The time to choose capacity over rhetoric, delivery over promises, and experience over experiments is now.
Senator Solomon Adeola YAYI is Ogun’s Gateway to Greatness.
The journey to a Greater Ogun starts with YAYI; the time is now!
